Position: Director of Strategic Initiatives

Classification: Full-time, Exempt 

Location: Remote

Sustain Our Future Foundation (SOFF) seeks an entrepreneurial, strategic, and collaborative leader with a strong commitment to environmental justice and equitable sustainable development to serve as our Director of Strategic Initiatives. The ideal candidate will help grow SOFF's work by building strategic partnerships, developing innovative community benefit strategies, and advancing community-centered approaches to infrastructure development.

The Director will work across renewable energy and other sustainability infrastructure sectors to help developers, governments, and communities create more accountable, collaborative, and community-defined development models. This role will lead new partnerships, support innovative projects, and develop practical tools that strengthen community benefits and long-term impact.

The Director will lead initiatives focused on:

• Community Benefit Strategy and Innovation

• Infrastructure Development Standards and Accountability

• Strategic Partnerships and Consulting

• Community Governance and Capacity Building
