The ideal candidate will help grow SOFF's work by building strategic partnerships, developing innovative community benefit strategies, and advancing community-centered approaches to infrastructure development.

The Director will work across renewable energy and other sustainability infrastructure sectors to help developers, governments, and communities create more accountable, collaborative, and community-defined development models. This role will lead new partnerships, support innovative projects, and develop practical tools that strengthen community benefits and long-term impact.

Sustain Our Future Foundation (SOFF) announces the launch of the Regenerative Communities Maryland Project, made possible through a $2 million dollar 2024 Maryland Energy Administration’s Energy Efficiency Equity Award. In collaboration with Lumeco Energy, this initiative will provide whole-home electrification and weatherization services to 133 households with high energy burdens and limited access to efficient heating and cooling solutions. Additionally, the project will offer vital workforce development opportunities for students from Maryland’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), widening access to the field of sustainability.
