Aissa Dearing
Regenerative Economy Program Advisor
As the Regenerative Economy Program Advisor, Aissa (she/her) focuses on stewarding the activation and resourcing of sustainable infrastructure and community resilience projects.
Prior to joining Sustain Our Future Foundation, Aissa served as an environmental justice staffer for the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the energy representative on her hometown's (Durham, NC) Environmental Affairs Board, and as an environmental policy consultant for local political campaigns.
Aissa has a BA in History and BS in Environmental Science from Howard University, an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford, and is pursuing a PhD in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford.
